More Fisher Brown was established as a niche practice in 1988, having grown since that time to our current count of nineteen Partners and Assistant Solicitors. We remain nonetheless a compact and integrated team dealing exclusively in all aspects of shipping, insurance and international trade providing prompt high quality legal advice.

As a firm we place vital importance on close personal contacts with clients, understanding their business requirements and resolving any disputes expeditiously and commercially. We believe the shipping market requires a dedicated specialised firm with a commitment to the shipping industry and this is something we believe that we provide.

We were proud to receive the Queen's Award for Export Achievement in April 1992, thereby becoming only the second law firm to do so.

We include two legally qualified master mariners, to service the "wet" division of the market, including collision, salvage, towage, pollution and all related issues and maintain close contact with P&I Clubs, Lloyd's Underwriters, other insurers and insurance brokers. In the event of a casualty or for urgent advice they can be contacted on a 24 hour basis.
